Your not the first one that has brought that question to my attention. Including my recruiter after I let him know that the MEPS had me going to Ft. Jackson. He along with my liason at the MEPS did some reseach for me and discovered that a lot of 18 series have been getting put into different feeder MOS's recently. I am listed in my contract as an 18E so my AIT is 25C at Ft. Gordon. From what I understand 18D's are being sent in as 91W's as well...
I do appreciate all those that were willing to send up the red flag though. Looking at my contract right now I am pretty confident everything is set up correctly. However, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if anyone wants to take a look at my
orders just to be sure.
