Just signed up. Craig turned me onto the site. Quick intro. I retired from SF in '89. I had 20 years with Group and a total of 22 with Uncle Sugars Army. Served with the 3d, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 46th Co., SFTG as a student and instructor and last but not least 3/7(Pan). Started as an O5B2S (18E), then 31V4S, 18Z, and 11B secondary. Spent 6 wonderful months at DLI in Monterrey learning to Habla espanol. I was the NCOIC of the Commo Committee. That don't mean much 'cause we were still bangin' rocks together to make morse code. Nothing like the 18E's of today. One more thing and I'll stop yammerin'. Up until Afghanistan I kinda was doin' my own thing not paying much attention to what SF was doing.......until I saw my bretheren riding horse's across Afghanistan leading "G's". I felt like a proud papa. Us old timers always worried what would happen to SF in the future. It's in good hands......drive on guys. I now can retire in Mexico in peace. Thanks for this site. The circle is complete. "Q".
