Hello All,
Just to introduce myself, I'm Steve Craig, retired in 1988...sometimes I regret it, but did my 20 and have many, many fond memories. Started out in the 7th Group, lots of Motor Pool duties, along with a few good FTX's. Then off to the 5th in 'Nam, spent my time at A-104, Ha Thanh...I know, an "A-Team Puke" ...
Got out for a few months after I got back, then off to Devens with the 10th for a year. Believe it or not, actually got orders to go to 46th in Thailand, didn't volunteer...or re-up to get it. Spent 13 months there having a ball. Then back to Devens for a long spell, mostly in Signal Company but also got to go to the HALO team for a spell. Got orders for Bad Tölz, but my Team Sgt from Devens got me transferred to Det A, an interesting and exciting assignment. Finished my 20 years after that trip on the hill, with SF Training Group. Retired in '88, and moved with my (then) wife to Australia. Been here ever since, love the weather but miss the camaraderie...anyone who wants to catch up feel free, email me or catch me here.
