intro

Hello all, I'm a 98GAD with the 82nd, been here for 3 years and 3 deployments and am starting to think it's time to (redacted) or get off the pot. I'm still in the "thinking seriously" category for several reasons. One is that I'm finally recovering surgery to repair a torn up shoulder and with encouragement from an old room mate who just started phase II I'm trying to get back in shape.
I've worked with socom soldiers occasionally (more often than not in an indirect way) and have always liked the respect they gave to and expected from others. I'm a little bit of a gun nut, am trying to improve my 3/2+ in arabic, and at 190 pounds have never run a pt test slower than 1230. On the negative side I'm kind of an asshole, I pick my nose and eat the boogers when I think no one is looking, and I have a blunt persona that has landed me in trouble before, never for being wrong mind you, but for taking that "tone". This site is chock full of good stuff, and I plan on mostly just soaaking it all in. I've got a little experience if anyone has any language type questions, but most of my other experience is not for general consumption, not that it's interesting anyway. take care.
