As far as your lapsed EMT cert goes.... if you do get selected as an 18D you retake it during Trauma in Phase III so that you can ride with the paramedics on rotations. Good luck.

Very true plus a plethora of other little cards that you get as well like PALS, ACLS, PHTLS, EMT-B and plus this Advanced Tactical Practioner diploma plus little card. If you have the means get it recerted and on the outside chance that you do get selected for 18D and you then make it to Phase 3 then when the rest of your class is taking the NREMT-B exam you can go home on a much deserved half day .....BAM theres your bonus!
