That was standard issue when we went to Scotland in 67 on "First Fling". a 2lt gave us an area briefing before departing and he told us that the NCO Clubs were sedate reading rooms. I guess he got his info from ole timey English Movies. After the first night at an RAF Club the song
England Rocks seemed more apropos.
