A nit, an observation and a question for the medical folk.

1. Nit: "wizened" doesn't mean "wise with age"; it means "dried up, withered or shriveled." Sometimes those with wisdom are indeed wizened, like Ian McKellan's Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings films. Other times, they are jovial Buddha types.

2. Observation: stuffed animals seem like a good addition to a trauma kit, depending on the AO/UWOA.

3. Question: regarding antibiotics, my first thought in Third World environments (hell, even on occasion in First World ones) is what are the odds that the indigenous folk will stick with the antibiotic regimen?
