How did the sling react when coming in contact to a hot barrel? How much damage did it take (ie any melting, burning of the strap)? I ask because I imagine it will eventually come in contact with a hot barrel sometime during its use but doubt such testing would be intentional. If this was not experienced, less worry for the shooter than.
