I just finished reading the book "Hunting Al Qaeda" and I was wondering if their story was a common occurance. In other words, I am asking those of you with Operational Experience if you were commonly ham-strung or held back by stupid/restrictive ROE's coming from up above.

I am not asking for details on specific missions or anything that would violate OPSEC/PERSEC, just curious if in your time it happened alot or not. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to any responses I may get :munchin
