President's Dinner An X-Rated Affair To Remember?

WASHINGTON -- The annual President's Dinner, a Republican Party fundraising event featuring President George W. Bush, could get an extra dash of spice this year.

Mary Carey casts her vote in the California election.

That's because porn actress and former California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey is planning to attend.

The porn industry and the Republican Party may seem like a strange pairing. But Carey said she sees the dinner as a good opportunity to learn more about their policies and do some networking. She plans to run for lieutenant governor of California as an independent next year.

Carey acknowledged that some people just think of her as a busty blonde who does porn films, but she said she also has a brain and political aspirations.

Carey was one of 135 candidates on the ballot to replace California Gov. Gray Davis in the 2003 recall election. Voters picked another actor: Arnold Schwarzenegger.

What's up with this?

What's wrong with it? Is she not allowed to participate in the process because of her occupation?

She would bring a whole new meaning to the old joke of stains on a blue dress.

At the least, her office would be alot less stressful due to excellent employee "benefits"!

Nah, just looking out for the fairer of the sexes. Besides, my favorite gave up and went legit, or at least she's trying to.

I didn't say anything was wrong with it. I just don't understand it. They said on Fox News this morning that the president knows she is coming but they doubt he will go near her.
