Cop takes down knife-wielding criminal with drop-kick, saving woman's life. --Aric --Edited for proper terminology-- |
We call that a twimyo yopcha chagi or flying push kick.
Nicely done. |
What was the context?
|
Inasmuch as why the guy was holding a knife to her throat?
Not sure really. Found it on one of those internet "bored at work" sites. --Aric |
Right ON!

Hi Googles, it's just a question.
No judgement passing should be inferred. I'm thrilled the cop was able to do what he did. I am just asking a basic question - what was the context. In other words: What led up to everyone being positioned as they were. FrontSight |
NP FS! That question just seemed out of sorts to me. ;)

Kyobanim, Do you think he is left handed? The kick was with his left foot.
My guess regarding the context...........The cop was intentionally positioned in plain clothes and in nonchalant posture awaiting the best time to use his skill. That might be a reach and everything could have been impromptu as there did not appear to be any less than lethal weapons deployed, such as sock round, bean bag, etc. But regardless it is one heck of a great job! |

No way to tell if he's left or right. |
