Pete and I were classmates in OCS Mar 6th, 1969.
We went on to Jump School, 6th SFG(A), and became Special Forces officers. While I was deemed damaged goods, Pete had a successful career serving this great nation. Pete and I came home from VN on the same plane from (Frisco to Dallas), Got drunk, and chased the stewardess during the flight. He gave me one of his SF business cards. I returned it when I found him on FB 10 yrs ago. You will be missed, my brother. Until Valhalla 🙁 Pictures: 1)Mike Rogers (another classmate) and Pete while he was the EO, Detachment 13, Company B, 46th SF CO, LopBuri, Thailand 2)Pete and Col Maggie 3)Pete's business card 4)Pete's retirement pic 5)Summer of 69, Pete (with his back to you) and several of my classmates were assigned to mini Gaberial Demonstrations teams and sent out to civilian events, like county fairs. https://ocsalumni.org/at_biz_dir/dun...Naz_gUV7LVsbq8 |
