Sorry for the thread hijack, but I've read that "Montagnard" is something of a pejorative, and that Hmong, Rhad, Bru, etc., was a more polite way of referring to the tribespeople. Anything to this? Not that I'm terribly concerned w/ being PC  , but I do wish to be respectful. TIA.

Edited for grammar.

Not at all. On ST Deleware there were only two out of nine troops from the same tribe. In addition there was no one common dialect understood by all. Referring to them by their tribe would be like referring to members of a U.S. Team an New Yorkers, Chicagoans or ever worse, Irish, Spanish, German etc.

Now my last two teams(ST Bear and TM Cutlass) were entirely Bru so there was no problem. I called them my little Bru.

Martinez: I don't think I can make ot but will be at SOAR with bells on my toes.
