Question about gear from military channel special

Saw a snippet from a Military channel Special about ODA 574 in OEF. Was wondering about some Jackets that looked like Carhart ranch jackets with pockets sewn onto them. Just curious if that's what they actually were, any info would be greatly appreciated.
