50ty Years Ago, OCS, Class 06-69
 

Today, March 6th, 1969 a bunch of wet-nosed kids marched across the stage at Infantry Hall, Ft Benning Ga and received their Butter Bars.

They were giddy, aggressive, brash, overconfident kids, that knew no bounds..

I was one of them.

To those that we have lost, I salute you and will never forget.

• Roy Richardson KIA 05-09-70 101st DSC
• James Stokes KIA 06-20-70 1st Cav. Jim & I were wounded the same battle about 1/2 mile apart.

It's good that you're keeping those memories alive JJ..

Funny how fast time goes by. Seems like last week. :( Salute and Rest in Peace to the fallen.
