Best Superbowl
Seeing that this years game could be a blow out again....
What do think was the best game(s) you've watched. Me : 1) Denver and Green Bay ---- Denver (Elway) win. 2) Chicago and New England --- Chicago win. 3) All 4 Steelers wins |

Best Super Bowls
my top 3 are:
1. Patriots v. Rams (Brady's coming out) 2. Giants v. Bills (3 more years of agony for Bills fans) 3. 49ers v. Broncos (Montana at his best) |
1974.
The Dolphins beat the Vikings 24 - 7. In the first half, Larry Csonka smashed over the viking defense for a touchdown. The vikes never had a chance! |
Deadskins
At one time, in a world far away, I enjoyed the Washington Deadskins winning the big one. Then I just lost interest.

1971, 1977, 1992, 1993, 1995

Good question as there have been so many that stunk as far as competition goes.
I'd have to say the first game deserves a high rank just because it was the groundbreaker. Others would be Joe Montana's last minute drive to beat the Bengals; the Giants clock munching win over the Bills and poor Scott "wide right" Noorwood; the Titans last stretch of the ball in an effort to score one more time against the Rams; and of course Joe Namath and the surprise win that formed the league. |
San Francisco vs San Diego. I am a huge Montana fan because of the Notre Dame factor, but seeing Steve Young win the big one was awesome.

Deadskins?
I was thinking Super Bowls XVII (January 1983), XXII (January 1988), and XXVI (January 1992).

It's Groundhog Day, 1970, around here: we keep reliving Superbowl IV when the Chiefs beat the Vikings 23-7. That was tough for me, at first, since I hadn't even watched it. It's easier after 26 years of instruction in "the true meaning of the superbowl."
All I really know is that if I put out the KC Chief's chip bowl they will lose. I'd have to go with 1998. |
Fucked if I know, I just watch it for the cheerleaders. :p

Agreed Gypsy, although I was born and raised in a burb north of Chicago, that was one hell of a team. Of course that pinhead McCaskey (SP) ended up destroying that team. The '85 Bears and Super Bowl Champs over New England were the lowest paid team at the time. Well, the following season a bunch of tremendous players went elsewhere because Pinhead would'nt pay. Next is the Broncos (Elway) win over Greenbay. For one I grew up rooting against GB. You know the oldest rivalry in football thing Bears/GB. Plus lived in Denver then, Elway was a treat to watch as were/are the Broncos. |
