David Shaffer, West Point Grad, Chopper Pilot, Combat Diver, Green Beret... NOT!!
 

David C. Shaffer, claimed to have been a West Point Graduate that rose to the rank of Colonel in the Army. He also said he was a Helicopter Pilot that then volunteered for Special Forces became a Combat Diver, and lead an A-Team in Vietnam.
He was sent to us by a member of the Shriners he belongs to. The guy that sent him to us said all the Shriners refer to him as Colonel. Being former military himself, he established dialog with the "COL"... He quickly realized "COL" Shaffer was a fraud and reached out to Guardiansofthegreenberet.com to see if we could look into his claims.
When looking into them, we found that a LRRP Org had questioned his claims a while back as many thought him a fraud also but never moved forward on the case.
We sent for records and what he claims is far different from what he did.
West Point, False (We have an asset that can check WP Grads. He's not one)

It looks like David C. Shaffer, Fake Green Beret spent a very short time in the service as a 31M (Multichannel Transmission Systems) and an 05B (Radio Operator).
Never went to West Point much less graduated from there, was never a chopper pilot, never a Green Beret, never went to Vietnam or any of the other continents he claims in his fake 30 career.
