Anthony Bourdain Dead
 

Bourdain was a good storyteller. I enjoyed his travel shows.

However, he was also an unabashed leftist/Statist who once said he would poison president Trump if he were to cater a meal for the President.

His demons apparently got the best of him.

I feel very sorry for his young daughter.

Yes he was,, He was also a drunk and drug abuser.

Loved his shows, not his politics, Every time I watch, he would be wandering the back streets at 3AM looking for epicurean delights in some obscure and distant foreign community,, Here was this big time traveling chief, crawling in the back allies, nobody spoke English, he usually had a local escort, always with his back to the camera.

Looking like he was just released from detox tank, Sitting on the curb, 1/2 smoke cigaret hanging from his lips, Raving about the blow-torch toasted monkey balls with Kimchi infused rats milk.

I kinda suspected he had a drinking problem until I read about the drugs?

He wrote extensively about it in his book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. It's the book I cite when I tell people I don't go to restaurants. ;)

Very Sad that the Demons caught up with him.

Very sad that a great culinary talent got sucked in to politics...the two do not mix.

Anthony Bourdain and those like him are the reason the food service industry does not piss test anyone. It is truly the Island of Misfit Toys.

On his twitter account he complained about being harassed by HRC and her operatives quote ".....and Im in no way an HRC fan. Ive been on the receiving end of her operatives wrath. And it ant fun."


Interesting but swept under the rug.....

It's a shame, but with people like him it eventually bites you in the ass....
