Bad batch used at Ft Drum & Ft Campbell  |
So units are supposed to identify soldiers from 11-17 years ago, that are most likely out/gone/unknown, by early May?!
Better late than never? Hope this is getting out so that former Soldiers get notified. I got mine in that window, not at those two sites, but knowing how these are distributed and sourced, doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling that it was limited to just those locations over that long of a time span... Only received several anthrax shots with 5th at the time  Another thing to ask the VA at the end of the month. Thanks for the heads up. Now here's that shot record?????

I can't remember how many times I had to start that string of shots. Before completing the cycle, I was told to disregard as we are not deploying/shots no longer required..... Then a year later, we need to get everyone up to date, start over.... Ooops, not needed.
Did that 3 or 4 times over 5 years. |
Compromised Immunization Vaccine ????
What Pharmaceutical Company manufactured & Tested the vaccine's that are now causing problems??? What are the signs and symptoms associated with the Anthrax vaccinations that are from the bad batches??? Do the "side Effects extend to children of military personnel that were vaccinated??? IS THERE A REMEDY for this problematic series of vaccinations??? Aside from compensation; What can & will the VA be able to do???? There are a lot of questions to be answered from the issue of what is reported in Tasking Order 18-04-01...GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE VACCINATED.....tom kelly

To help get the word out, I forwaded this on to the "U.S. Army WTF Moments" Facebook page. Usually a tongue-in-cheek page highlighting random funny moments happening in the Army, they've got a reach of over a million prior and active service members.
They have a pretty extensive back chanel network and are fairly diligent about confirming things before posting it. Hope it helps reach some people. |

Military Anthrax Immunizations.????
The Anthrax Immunization Series of Shots DOES NOT CONTAIN ANTHRAX BACTERIA and cannot give people anthrax. The FDA HAS NOT APPROVED the vaccine for use after exposure for anyone. If there were an Emergency Anthrax Situation where The Bacillus Anthrax was used as a weapon The vaccine can prevent anthrax disease; These people should get a series of 3 doses. 1st. when the risk of a potential exposure is identified. 2.The remaining doses at 1 and 6 months after the 1st.dose. If someone exhibits signs of infection Treatment with antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin and doxycycline are effective treatments....tom kelly
