Film Review: Sideways
 

I just saw this last night. It was awesome. Hysterically funny, with great characters, great cinematography and an award-winning script. Even if you don't get the wine jokes, you'll still laugh your ass off.

Definitely deserves a slew of award nominations, including for Best Picture, IMO. I highly recommend this film. (It is a film, not a movie. ;) )

If you don't know what it's about, two guys from San Diego drive up to the wine country for a week-long two-guy bachelor party the week before one of them is going to get married. I don't want to give away anything beyond that.

Seconded. VERY funny flick.

I left the theater thinking I really like Sideways. However, as time has gone by, I wonder what I liked about it? In retrospect it was depressing and the main characters are folks I don't think I would want to spend time with. Maybe I need to see it again.
