Port Authority explosion: Suspect ID'd in 'attempted terrorist attack'

A Bangladeshi man reportedly inspired by ISIS set off a pipe bomb inside New York's Port Authority bus terminal during rush hour Monday morning, sowing mass chaos but causing few injuries -- likely because the "attempted terrorist" detonated his "low tech device" prematurely.

Akayed Ullah, 27, set off the "effectively low-tech device" in a subway passageway just before 7:30 a.m., New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a news conference. Ullah suffered burns and wounds to his abdomen and hands and appeared to be the only person seriously injured in the pipe bomb explosion, authorities said.

At least three other people suffered minor injuries, including ringing in the ears and headaches. They are in stable condition and expected to be released later Monday, the hospital said in a statement to Fox News.

Imagine how much worse it would have been if he had access to assault weapons with bump stocks and silencers...

3-4 years ago terrorist attacks in NYC were practically non-existsnt. Now they're starting to add up just from this year alone with the Chelsea bombing, the truck of peace, and now this. There's probably more but these first came to mind. Small sporadic incidents like this are growing and NYC better do something.

The “firecracker” in Central Park a few years back (the one that blew someone’s toes off) was just a random hooligans prank. The Mayor said so! (It’s not terrorism if the president says it’s not!) Same goes for two Muslims showing up at a Texas art show with AKs in a stolen car...random workplace violence!

That was islamic terrorism covered up by the NYPD and the mayor/gov and the barry soetoro administration.

Don't want to scare the socialist New Yorkers, who else is going to vote for the socialist party.......

This is all on the POTUS, the MSML's (main stream media liars) all say it's because of Trumps stand on Israel. Hell this moron could not spell Israel if he had to, he probably could not find his home country on a map if he had to.

Should there have been a few more wounded or killed, then I wonder if it would still be considered a "low tech" home-made explosive that was simply built while at work.
