What comes around goes around........ 'de-policing'
What comes around goes around. But when it comes around for the second time its usually moving a whole lot faster........
Maybe Mayor Catherine Pugh should call black lives matter for assistance ? barry soetoro has got more kills inside the United States then outside....... You could not pay me to be a cop in Baltimore, Philly, Chicago, LA, NYC, seattle or any socialist city. Gun control, there is no such thing. Social Justice, yeah, it's working read what's happening in Baltimore. Baltimore seeking FBI, ATF help to combat skyrocketing murder rate By Perry Chiaramonte Published May 03, 2017 Fox News Baltimore’s mayor has asked the FBI and other federal agencies to help the city, which has one of the nation’s strictest gun control laws, as it struggles with an accelerating pace of murders. This past weekend alone saw four murders, adding to the 104 that been committed since the start of 2017. “We are looking for all the help we can get,” Mayor Catherine Pugh said on Monday, according to FoxBaltimore.com. “As you know our murder rate is up. Murder is out of control. Too many guns on our streets." The mayor said that last week she requested additional manpower and equipment from federal agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Pugh, appearing with local police officials and ATF officials, announced that the city would start receiving some of the requested help, including a new bullet-tracing van, known as a National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) van, that assists police in more quickly solving gun-related crimes. Through the end of last month, murders in Baltimore topped 100 and are the most in the city since 1993 when 110 people had been murdered in the first four months of that year. However, the city has 110,000 fewer residents than it did in 1993, making this year’s murder rate through April the highest per capita rate in the city’s history. http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...newthread&f=93 And then comes this: ‘de-policing’ You get what you ask for..... EXCLUSIVE: FBI report finds officers ‘de-policing’ as anti-cop hostility becomes ‘new norm’ Study on cop killers shows 28 percent motivated by animus toward police; others wanted to avoid custody By Valerie Richardson - The Washington Times - Thursday, May 4, 2017 An unclassified FBI study on last year’s cop-killing spree found officers are “de-policing” amid concerns that anti-police defiance fueled in part by movements like Black Lives Matter has become the “new norm.” “Departments — and individual officers — have increasingly made the decision to stop engaging in proactive policing,” said the report by the FBI Office of Partner Engagement obtained by The Washington Times. The report, “Assailant Study — Mindsets and Behaviors,” said that the social-justice movement sparked by the 2014 death of 18-year-old Michael Brown at the hands of an officer in Ferguson, Missouri, “made it socially acceptable to challenge and discredit the actions of law enforcement.” FBI spokesman Matthew Bertron said the study was written in April. “Nearly every police official interviewed agreed that for the first time, law enforcement not only felt that their national political leaders [publicly] stood against them, but also that the politicians’ words and actions signified that disrespect to law enforcement was acceptable in the aftermath of the Brown shooting,” the study said. cont: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...cop-hostility/ |
When you 'give them room to destroy' and marginalize the Police this is what you get.....do you think city Dems will ever figure this out?
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have brought its gun tracing van to Baltimore after a surge in the city’s murder rate. The Baltimore Sun reported the new National Integrated Ballistic Information Network van will be used to try and solve gun crimes at a quicker rate than authorities are currently capable of solving them. The ATF uses NIBIN to analyze ballistics evidence to match crime scene shell casings to a firearm and also to try and determine if the gun has been used in other crimes. The new tool was deployed after mayor Catherine Pugh asked for more federal resources to help stop the rise in violent crime in Baltimore, which in 2017 has seen its highest ever recorded murder rate. ATF Baltimore Field Division special agent in charge Daniel L. Board called the mobile ballistics lab a “critical piece to solving and preventing gun violence in Baltimore.” The network is used to solve gun crimes throughout the country and will be used in Baltimore for periods of time during the spring and summer. Pugh thanked the ATF for lending the additional resources, admitting the crime rate in Baltimore had gotten out of control. “We’re grateful to the federal intervention in the city of Baltimore,” Pugh said. “We are looking for all the help we can get. Murder is out of control. There are too many guns on the streets.” City Councilman Brandon Scott, chairman of the council’s Public Safety Committee, also commented on the federal support and said the new tool was a welcomed site. “Every little bit helps,” Scott said. “It’s clear we have to do things differently. What we’re doing currently isn’t working. The strategy isn’t working.” So far in 2017, there have been 108 homicides in Baltimore, and violent crime is up by 23 percent compared to last year. __________________ |

So the van will help prevent gun violence? Why not just get one for every community then? Idiots!

Too many murderers on those streets. Guns don't kill, people do. |
Very few of these weapons will be traced to a legal sale from a licensed dealer, after their initial purchaser.
That sounds like they are going to try and match ballistic evidence (like shell cases and bullet markings) from crimes to registered firearms. Good luck. The mayor and Chief basically told the LEOs not to go after criminals (and refused to back them up) and the slowdown is a logical reaction. TR |

You have to destroy the existing system before you can replace it with the new, improved socialist utopian system. The blueprint goes back exactly 100 years to 1917 Russia.

Maybe the Mayor and Chief of Police from Berkeley could come to show them how it should be done.

Speaking from ground zero,
A large source of violent crime can be attributed to the out of control bond and parole system. The police are still arresting criminals but the courts set offenders free after arrest by setting low bail amounts. Once back, out retaliation is the rule of the day. If the offenders don't kill the witnesses the first time, post conviction leinient sentencing and early parole guarantee a second chance at retaliation either by the offender or victim's associates. THere have been homicides a block away from the court house with the bond slip still in victim/offender's pocket. It's a perpetual cycle of violence because the liberal politicians do not want to incarcerate their base. De-policing is real, but over rated. It's the court systems that's recycling the same criminals that is the larger cause of higher violent crime rates. My humble opinion. TO |
