Seems that the only people that have a problem with the ruling is the animal right's activists.

“Acts with animals that have a sexual purpose are inherently exploitative whether or not penetration occurs,” Justice Rosalie Abella wrote in her dissent.

Animal rights activist Camille Labchuk agreed with Justice Abella. “As of today, Canadian law gives animal abusers license to use animals for their own sexual gratification,” she told the paper. “This is completely unacceptable, contrary to societal expectations, and cannot be allowed to continue.”

Someone asked me what it might be like without a god loving society and that we'd fall quickly into decay.

After much thought I give you this, Central & South America are extremely religious places and extremely violent, extremely corrupt, many ruled as dictatorships.

Even the idiot pope is calling for mass illegal immigration into Europe and to welcome the invaders, which will lead to the complete destruction of Europe.

And I think we all know how islam is working out.

Religion is not the answer to a safer/better world. That said, I don't care what you believe in as long as you don't harm others based on your beliefs.

The reference to Gomorrah is metaphorical; this is not a book on religion but on moral decay. While American morality was based largely on Judeo/Christian beliefs, our culture was more based on the Monday through Saturday ethic than on the Sunday ethic: Hard work, strong family, strong community, education, etc. You don’t, necessarily, need a higher power to achieve these but something is needed to harden them to the point that they cannot, easily, be chiseled away at. Whatever that something is, it has been weakened and we are in peril because of it.

Morality is just another one of those words that no longer means what it means.

Morality and its cousin ethics are just the words used by management when it's convenient to find an abstract reason to terminate an employee or promote/retire a senior manager.

In the progressive 'hipster' dictionary those words have been replaced with 'values' and 'equality' and we all know what that means. Nothing.

Don't forget "fairness."
