The "dangers" of cooking!

I'm just an amateur however, I've come to the conclusion why, kitchens are closed off.

While in a discussion, I left the gas grill on. As soon as hit the ignition switch...BOOM!

I now have singed hair, eyebrows and eyelashes.:o

Match

Been there - done that.

Which is why I like Charcoal these days.

A talent that was acquired from 1SG Sample when, I got to Group as a support guy. It got even better when, they sent me out to Fort Huachuca (Desert Training) too drive a bus and all the ODAs around every-f**king-where for six months!:o

Anyways, I've been testing the Flamen Heavy-Duty Non-Stick BBQ Grill Mat, Reusable, Durable, and Creates Grill Marks 2-pack

So far, it's doing well.

That alone could leave one with a case of PTSD.

Came close to happening to me the same day. My wife had cleaned the front of the grill and knocked one of the knobs to the on position. I smelled the gas, though. ;) Is your smeller inop? :D

Sort of a similar situation. Winter time, started the grill with lid open. Once grill lit, closed grill to heat up for steak. Went in house for a few minutes. The grill had not been cleaned in a while. Some kids walking by the house start pounding on my door. Saying there is a fire in my garage. Had a pretty good fire going on the grill in the garage. Good thing I have fire extinguishers handy. Now I clean my grill all the time. And the grill stays outside.
