SOPC

I scoured the forums and couldn't find any information about SOPC. I've done my research and understand the 18x pipeline, although I have never really heard to much about SOPC. I understand it is a prepatory course, but what exactly does it entail? Does the course touch upon the prominent areas of SFAS, such as rucking and land nav practice or is it an overall prep course? Meaning things such as physical training and whatnot. I know the Navy has a prepatory course for candidates attending BUD/S and I was curious if it is similar in that aspect. Thanks.

It's now called SFPC.

"Scope: This 19-day performance-oriented course includes physical conditioning, map reading and land navigation instruction; land-navigation practical exercises and common-task training. Course Description: To prepare and condition 18X and REP-63 (National Guard) soldiers to attend Special Forces Assessment and Selection course and the follow-on Special Forces Qualification Course." - Wikipedia
