Donald Trump Says Take Out ISIS Families

Pressed by Bill O'Reilly on his earlier comments during "Fox and Friends" Trump stuck to his guns and says take out the families of terrorists. He has to of been over this with staffers etc. as this has been on air since yesterday.

Sounds like as a president he understands that war is in fact hell and that we should open up the ROEs to get it over with as fast as possible instead of working through goofy police actions and waiting on white house approval to drop a bomb.

I would imagine families might be less likely to encourage their young towards martyrdom when a hellfire might fly through their front door in response.

Our current strategies are an abject failure at preventing terrorism or stabilizing regions.

We can run with the liberal theory of sunshine and happiness that violence never settles anything and use minimal force...

But our enemies see this as a weakness and consistently use it against us to great effect.

I have no opinion either way. I don't run linear regression for DOD or any other agency. The consequences of collateral damage that these strikes may cause don't matter to me. What really suprisong is Trump coming out twice on air saying this.

I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

Re: the old Arab tale about the guy who lets his camel talk him into stickin' his nose inside his tent to get out of a sandstorm and winds up out in the storm with the camel inside the tent.
