Oklahoma Wesleyan University President hits the nail on the head. Its' time to suck it up kiddies life can be a real bitch at times.

"Our culture has actually taught our kids to be this self-absorbed and narcissistic. Any time their feelings are hurt, they are the victims. Anyone who dares challenge them and, thus, makes them “feel bad” about themselves, is a “hater,” a “bigot,” an “oppressor,” and a “victimizer.”

You find a kid who understands this premise nowadays and you got a rare bird.

Even some of the good ones I've met, don't fully get that. They'll help you, as long as their getting something (more) in return. Up front they seem selfless, but the shell breaks away and you see they are still selfish.
