Green Beret medics train at Duke

"DURHAM - Soldiers from the 3rd Special Forces Group received hands-on instruction at Duke University Medical Center as they prepare for a new mission in Africa.

About a dozen Green Berets, all medics with the Fort Bragg-based group, spent Monday honing their skills with ultrasound machines...."

Good training.

I saw a few Special Forces plaques on the wall of the hyperbaric center while I was there. One of the higher-ups was a plank holder from the SEALs, great guy.

This was back in 2008.

DAN (Diver's Alert Network) was formed there back in 1980 and is still heavily associated with them today. DAN's headquarters are out of the University as well.

Our team had a reenlistment oath done inside the chamber once. It was funny as hell as everyone sounds like the Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz.

HEY come on now!!

Great to see medics back into Hospitals.

I hated seeing the medic programs go away due to the war. My medics always came back a better medic after a month TDY to some nice city.
