At least 18 people have been killed in several shootings in the French capital, Paris, as well as explosions at the Stade de France.

At least one man opened fire with an automatic gun at the Petit Cambodge restaurant in the 11th district.

Liberation newspaper reports four deaths. It also reports shootings near the Bataclan arts centre.
Three explosions are also reported outside a bar near the Stade de France, where France were hosting Germany.

Reports say French President Francois Hollande was watching the match and has been moved to safety.
A BBC journalist at the Petit Cambodge restaurant says he can see 10 people on the road either dead or seriously injured.

He says police have now arrived and sealed off the area.

An eyewitness told Liberation he had heard more than 100 rounds being fired.
It says the gunman has fled the scene.

Radical Buddhists

Can't be true. France has very tight controls on who can have guns and who can't. Automatic weapons and grenades aren't for sale!

Yeah, I don't think it's going to come as much of a surprise. The Western World has offended some morons and this is the only way they solve their issues.

I just hope the French LEO's kill every last one of them and then hunt the others down worldwide, and kill them also.

It's a shame that our leadership is so limp wristed that Russia and France have to do what we aren't allowed to do.

Multiple apparently coordinated attacks, hostages...Paris is under siege.

France has closed it's borders and the French military is deploying.

Time to ship them all back to the Middle East. Pound sand and die...

Just an observation from watching the live feed from Paris, but, looking at the French Police, I don't see any fat officers, short officers, or female officers. They look rather like the LAPD did in the '70s. Can't tell about the FD, though, because of their turnout gear.
