60 dead in Mecca

Allah knocks over a crane in Mecca killing 60 and injuring over 30 more on first day of pilgrimage.

Check out this article from USA TODAY:

Doesn't have anything to do with 9/11 does it?

PRB 09-11-2015 11:51

Too bad it was such a small crane

Oldrotorhead 09-11-2015 11:54

Does this Mecca you happy too?:D

On the up side there is plenty of time for more accidents before the Haj is over.

I was hoping for a MERS epidemic.

The best results come from the Muslim stampede

When researching my book, Osama's Angel I found that bin Laden's father had ingratiated himself with the Saudi King by bailing him out during hard times. In return, old man bin Laden got all the work on the holy sites in Saudi Arabia. Wont it be ironic if, on the anniversary of 9-11, that a bin Laden crane sends 87 martyrs to paradise?

Ever visit a 2nd or 3rd world construction project? It's always been a mystery to me why there aren't many more of these sorts of accidents.

There are gazillions of construction accidents reported on Live Leak,, in all their gory details..:eek:

http://www.liveleak.com/browse?q=construction+accident

It seems that most 2nd & 3rd world countries only have a safety budget to cover cell-phone and CCTV video??

I wonder if the cranes are for their fascination with the mecca hajj, rather than new construction??
