The Flashlight that ate Cleveland

This ladies and Gentlemen is the biggest baddest light on the block. The 500 Lumen M6 that I posted previously seems downright puny compared to this 2000 lumen Monster. I'm not sure, but I would wager that if you held it in one place long enough, you would probably set fire to stuff.

Yup, I will probably need to have one of these before I die

Did I mention that it's three Grand?

that is all

Smokin Joe 12-29-2004 18:55

And only 4 going to the Civy market.

I think you should buy it, then let us all play with it for a week. :lifter

Air.177 12-29-2004 19:00

There are 85 of them going to civs or there were this morning

Smokin Joe 12-29-2004 19:06

No Sh*t um I thought Surefire said they were only going to sell 4.

Either way you should still get one and let us all play with it for a week or so each. :D

C'mon Dude its only 3 Grand. Just have the boss buy it as a "Marketing Device" :D

Next time you do a big sell you won't have to rent the spotlights.

Plan is a no go at this point, Already tried that angle as soon as I found the light for sale on the website. :lifter

Will have to explore other options

On the bright side (NPI) We will probably get to see one of these at SHOT

Razor 12-29-2004 22:07

Only for a fraction of a second, then you won't see anything else for a long, long time.

stanley_white 12-29-2004 22:12

As my friends on Columbus, Ohio PD would say "You can hear the beam hit the wall." :D

For $3k that thing better send up the Bat Signal on a foggy night - and Batman better show up.

LMAO! I am confident it does.

Air.177 12-30-2004 00:32

It Prolly just cuts steel if you hold it still long enough. I swear this M6 is a friggin Lightsabre, I can't even begin to imagine anything 4 times as bright.

and of course, I find this the Week after Christmas!! Santa Claus you Cheap Bastard, You must have hidden this from me. I'll get my revenge next year though. Let's see, where did that Surefire Catalog go????

I'm talking Adam West, not Michael Keaton.

Pikers.

The Beast is only about 2500 lumens, the Hellfire puts out 4000. It is a weapons light for a .50 M-2. Allegedly allows engagements out to 800 meters or so. Runs off two BA-5590s or a HMMWV power supply.

Just saw a couple this week, in fact. Nice light.
