If I was in charge he would pay the bill on the total cost of the dog including all training and development, as well as jail time.

Manslaughter
Manslaughter - he just killed a police officer through negligence.
Well, that's at least what a non-police person would be charged with. |

To me the police are civilians as well. |

Saw that a buddy of mine and his office use something called hot -n- pops on top of procedures to be certain this doesn't happen to their animals. I think their concern is a dog left in a running vehicle that malfunctions while the k-9 officer is otherwise occupied.

I'm calling bullshit. You don't leave a GSD, your partner, locked in a car for 20hrs. Period.
Fuck them. Go to jail and do time for manslaughter. If good enough for a citizen, then good enough for a cop. Period. |
I'm really confused here. I thought Police were on 12 hour shifts, how was this dog left in the car for 20 hrs strait?

I agree with you 100% Red Flag. Can you imagine the torture that the poor dog endured before it finally lapsed into unconsciousness? No f____ excuse for this! |
