While I applaud General McAuliffe's professionalism and reported lack of profanity use compared to his peer group, this is one historical occasion where I think the use of some words that could make a drunk sailor blush would have been truly awesome and perfectly appropriate.
Profanity that echoes through military history thru eternity a bit like a modern day Molon Labe. Even as a kid when reading about it I thought it was awesome, but just assumed it was Army PR watered down for Homefront. |
