3 Afghan Officers Missing from Joint Base Cape Cod
 

"CAMP EDWARDS – Police and military officials are searching for three officers from the Afghanistan National Army who were engaged in a training exercise at Joint Base Cape Cod.

Massachusetts National Guard spokesman Lt. Col. James Sahady said the three men were reported missing on Saturday night after travelling into Hyannis that day.

“They didn't report back (to the base),” Sahady said. “There is no indication they pose a threat to the public.”

Police and base officials are cooperating in the search for the three men, identified as Maj. Jan Mohammad Arash, Capt. Mohammad Nasir Askarzada, and Capt. Noorullah Aminyar. Sahady didn't have any descriptions or ages for the three officers.

A state police spokesman said they are not involved in the investigation."

We're up to 5 Afghans unaccounted for, right? Mass claims for asylum or nefarious plot?

Asylum? Why bother with the paperwork. They'll just go to California, get a drivers license, a job (or welfare), and that's it. Just by being in this country they're practically citizens already.

But hey who can blame em. If my home was a bomb crater, with people trying to kill me all the time I'd probably take the first opportunity to leave to so ya know...


Hadn't heard about the other ones who "disappeared" though.

On their honeymoon maybe??? They were caught near Rainbow Bridge.....

They walked up to the Canadian Border patrol and ID'd themselves and asked for asylum...they are in Canada now.

Guess they don't feel like being killed when we all pull out.

I'm sure this Stateside training will really pay off big time huh. More wasted dough.
