New Shodans!!!
Folks who frequent the Bear Pit!
My Bride and our daughter BOTH passed their SHODAN exam tonight in Hei Wa Do (Okinawan Karate) at our Dojo in Pearl City Hawaii!!! Everyone better WATCH OUT!!! :D WOO HOO!!! Eagle BTW- Very proud of the both of them in case it wasn't obvious  |
Congats. That is a great accomplishment!
You know what Shodan means right? It means the beginning. Your daughters now get the privilage of re-learning everything from White belt to Black belt again. Except now that have to learn how to teach it. (At least that is how is was for me) |
Congrats! How traditional is Hei Wa Do?
|
Congratulations to the ladies.
Shodan means "Now all the girls in the house can officially kick Eagle's ass." LOL |

Outstanding! I took Isshin Ryu from age 11 to 22, and I am wondering if Hei Wa Do is considered a hard or soft discipline.
Well done. |
Thanks everyone...
The girls are getting quite a "kick" out of me relaying the comments. As far as them kicking my ass now  . I'll TRY and keep myself in check so they won't have to ;)
Hei Wa Do is a traditional Okinawan Hardstyle Martial Art.. I am indeed VERY proud of their accomplishment. They were incredible. Eagle |
