Gen. Dempsey: US Ground Forces Possible if ISIS Airstrikes Fail

"To be clear, if we reach the point where I believe our advisers should accompany Iraqi troops on attacks against specific ISIL targets, I will recommend that to the president," Dempsey told the Senate Armed Services Committees, using an alternative name for the group.

Folks better start dusting off some of that old NBC training for when we get dragged into Syria...
...you may need it. And for all of you rookies that dont have any "pre-beard" SF time, your NBC mask isn't going to seal well with these cool taliban beards we've been sporting.
Take a razor.

I believe in Santa Clause more than I believed the POTUS when he said "no boots on the ground"...
...but to put things in a positive light, another way of looking at would be that we are JUST NOW getting around to that "red line that can't be crossed" response. Better late than never I guess.

HAHAHAH he already has his Nobel Prize - so, gooo fuck ya'self America

USSF embedded into ISF and carpet bomb all ISIL position and oil refineries. Target list has been made, excute the F-18, F-15, B52, B-1B and B-2 Bombers on them! USSF being the force multipliers we are, with CTT/JTACs and Iraqi Ground Commnaders calling in for "assists" in air support and approving on drops. SO if the ISIL are around Iraqi People, Local ISIL Supporters, it was the Iraqi Ground commander that approved the Drops, no USSF or U.S. Forces "Ground Forces."

Syria excute the F-18, F-15, B-1B and B-2 Bombers on all Target packages. If we need to take out a Refinery or Oil Field, oh Well.

I think ground forces is not needed, especially Conventional Forces. Maybe in support of USSF and Key "SOF" elements at key Airfields like Bagadad or Balad airfield.

But Billy L, Our POTUS said that we have reduced and/or removed Syria Chemical Weapons stockpiles last year or earlier this year!!

If we this same approach to the current threat I think the collective sigh of relief would be heard around the world.
