2014 NFL Season

My Seahawks opened the season in dominating fashion! Many commentators thought it would be a close game because Aaron Rogers is so good and because...well, they're stupid. I'll go so far as a home NFC championship game. Which we'll win against the Saints.
Russel Wilson says, "Lord have mercy, we have Percy". I'll just say, for the Twitter-verse, #KeepHarvinHealty (he's been a wee bit fragile in the past).

Sunday is the first full day of games. How are your teams looking for their opening day?

Well, if the Broncos can keep their key players from getting multi-game suspensions, and Manning not folding like he usually does in high pressure games, they might just get back to the Super Bowl and hopefully score into double digits this time.

Should be an interesting season. :munchin

I love the Broncos and don't so much like the Seahawks (at one time, a divisional foe). That being said, opening day (night) appears to not bode well for 31 NFL teams. If nothing really bad happens, I see no other outcome then the Broncos getting spanked again by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

I want to be optomistic, but, that team on Thursday night (aside from a few mistakes) just freaking dominated. I thought that the Packers had a chance, until I saw that game. I may be mistaken, but the Seahawks looked even better than last year, and that is scary. They'll fall once or twice during the season, but if I gambled (I don't) I'd put it all on that Seattle team.

Al Michaels compared the defense to the '85 Bears, which is appropriate, but I thought they really looked liked the 2000 Ravens (but with a much better offense).

Even if the Madden Curse kicks in (Richard Sherman), they look unbeatable right now.
