Theyrrrrrreee Baath

"....Outlawed Baath party in Iraq announced, the war against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria “ISIS” organization because of the last displacement of Christians..."

PR or do they really care?

"...ISIS has subjected entire Mosul city under its control and its radical view of the Islamic law on religious minorities of Christians, Shiites and Yazidis, causing the displacement of hundreds of thousands, "he said in the statement.

Mosul city has become completely empty of Christians who fled under threat of ISIS and that gave them the choice between converting to Islam , pay tribute or face death at a deadline that ended on Saturday..."

Pete, I don't think any of these groups give a shit about Christians one way or the other. They're all in it for the money and the power. Power and the great "I-Me-My-Mine" are their new gods. I think Allah went out of their hearts & minds long ago, and now all they want to do is get the $$ and the recruits, and that will give them power. They'll go to no ends to get it, and that's what makes them dangerous (but wonderful targets), IMHO.

And that is exactly how Muhammad acted. He is in their view the "ideal" and so it would follow that their behavior would mirror his and it does. Seems very self-consistent to me.

Ba'ath political party

The Ba'ath political party has roots going back to around WW I.

How it evolved into a one party system in a lot of middle eastern countries is also interesting.

They are in it for power and control. Religion for the most part only figures into if it can help them or will cause problems.

In most countries any group not making waves was off the radar.

Baath party & ISIS = sunnis

For those mooslem confused, Baath party & ISIS = sunni tribe.

mooslem brotherhood, sunnis

Syria rebels, mostly sunni's

Remember their are two main islamic tribes at war here, shias and sunnis.

This war has gone on for thousands of years and because both tribes have the intellectual capacity of a dust mite the wars will continue for another 2000 years.

The American leadership has decided to take sides with both sides (fact) and is currently arming the sunnis in the war in Syria.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

And it is that little gem is at the root of the cover up over Benghazi.

That fact will emerge in few months (after Novemebr) and my guess is the timing of this little revelation will emerge about the same time we learn about how Lois Lerner's emails went missing for maximal impact. Should just about define the agenda for the next Congress.

Under Saddam religious minorities were left alone, and IIRC maybe the vice president under Saddam was "christian".

These facts coupled with specifics in Iraq concerning Shia ability to hold should be considered as a point to remember. They have a relatively short hold on power and have been systematically sidelined in this area for the last 1400 years. They are also untrained (see untrainable) and with the aforementioned level of understanding of the dust mite, fail to comprehend any level of lateral integration of other parties in their country.

Seems we are doing the same thing. It's all or none with (loosely using the term) leadership in most countries. Too much appeasement and not enough vested interest for their actual country.
