Custom GP pouch by.....local shoemaker

I approached an elderly shoemaker in town about making a custom GP pouch
for my TT MAV and to make a rifle suppressor pouch at the same time.

I knew his work from the blade sheath that shows faintly in the photo.

It is built well and has a rugged feel to it.

In the photo there is a coil of 550 cord and 100mph tape inside the pouch.

Looks very nice!

The guy is obviously a craftsman, what we would call a cobbler.

Yes, a real old time craftsman. Really modest pay for quality work.

When i approached him some years back to make the sheath for the blade i got from my grandfather, he remembered his name and said he was business partners for a few decades with my grandfather, who owned several stores at that time.
