Obama has released ‘the homo demons’

Quote:

church sign in New York City’s Harlem is warning black women to be on the lookout for a “white homo” trying to steal their man.

“Obama has released the homo demons on the black man. Look out black woman. A white homo may take your man,” reads the marquee for ATLAH World Church at Lenox and 123rd.
The pastor of the church, James David Manning, has been very critical of President Obama, calling him “The Long Legged Mack Daddy” and often blaming him for the destruction of the black family, the Village Voice reported.
“This homosexual demon hoping to enforce as many black males to subscribe to ideas …, ” he said during a sermon the church posted on YouTube Tuesday. “So we have the outing of people like Jason Collins, who is an alleged basketball player, and Michael Sam, a football player. Two blacks that have come out of the closet and have received national acclaim from Obama, from Michelle ‘the fistbumper’ Obama, from Oprah Winfrey, from all black people encouraging more black men to come out of the closet.”

“You’ll have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male,” Mr. Manning continued. “He’s usually got money. The white homo usually has an American Express card. He usually has an opportunity at the theater. Homos love the theater. They love to go out to dinner, parties. They love that kind of thing.”

So what are you telling us? That homosexual black males make up a larger percentage of their respective population than homosexuals of other ethnicities do in their particular subsets? That they're more promiscuous/less discriminating in their sexual exploits? Indifferent to or less educated about the risks? I'm having a difficult time attempting to figure out what you're trying to say. Your charts lack content to tie them to whatever point you're trying to make.

It appear to me that the vast majority of HIV cases are Men Having Sex with Men WITHOUT PROTECTION.

Why, after 30 years, is this?

Do they not care?

Magic Johnson "attained" HIV 25 years ago and hasn't died. Maybe the gay community no longer thinks of HIV as a fatal disease but something that can be managed, like Herpes or Hep C....

I am broadly suggesting that the ongoing pattern in certain quarters of having a laugh at the expense of certain groups (e.g. blacks and gays) may be limiting opportunities to understand better the concerns of those groups and to figure out different ways to convince members of those groups to make different political and personal choices.

Within the specific context of the OP, the opportunity being missed thus far is an exploration of the role of conspiracy theories IRT the federal government and HIV/AIDS in shaping the political behavior of many black Americans. (This opportunity was also missed during the 2008 presidential election. Instead, many made the choice to focus on other issues that proved not to have political traction.)

It is a matter of personal choice to have one viewpoint or another about certain groups of people. Members of this BB have made their views on those two groups abundently and unequivocally clear. However when those choices consistently get in the way of achieving desired outcomes (such as winning elections or devising policies that solve problems without increasing the national debt or the power of the central government), one might ask if those choices merit a measure of reconsideration.

My $0.02.

Maybe when things have gone so far off the track that recovery seems impossible without a reset, pushing that button sooner rather than later may appeal to some people.

When elections are fraudulent, leaders completely corrupted while dedicated to staying in elected office till death (and perhaps beyond, through political dynasties), and the masses are consistently voting to take from the makers to provide for themselves, what incentive remains to work within the system?

Well stated TR. That is exactly how I feel.
