Piers Morgan and CNN Plan End to His Prime-Time Show

FINALLY! :D

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/24/bu...show.html?_r=0

“Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it,” he said. “That’s run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me.”

Good riddance.

Piers who???

Javadrinker 02-24-2014 09:43

wasn't he shipped back to Britain in 1783 and again in 1812?..lets make it a more permanent expulsion this time.

mojaveman 02-24-2014 11:04

Go home limey and let us enjoy our freedom. :D :p

Flagg 02-24-2014 12:54

Y'all better not ship him down our way.

Surely there's some international agreements on the transport of toxic waste.

One down, eleventeen jillion to go.

Hopefully his strident opposition and intentional failure to understand the true purpose of the 2nd Amendment serves as a warning to others.

prior to this thread I could have hit him with my car and wouldnt have known who he was

The British thing is really a smokescreen, if you think about it. Do you really think CNN won't replace him with an American who thinks exactly the same way on guns or other hot-button cultural issues? I thought I saw a snippet somewhere - maybe Drudge - that Larry King was interested in coming back.

ddoering 02-24-2014 16:24

No shortage of traitors for this position.

35NCO 02-24-2014 18:21

Its still a small victory that low ratings pushed him out. It shows well for the state of our country. Even Nancy Grace told him he was fool on Gun Control on live TV....she was the last person I would have ever suspected to be pro gun. I'm surprised CNN did not fire her for it.

Don't let the door hit him in the ass on the way out...

I've been doing the happy dance since I heard.

Mr King was known to be liberal, but he treated his guests with more respect without talking over them. I'll never understand why Piers was considered an appropriate replacement.

Every time Piers hears something he disagrees with, he scrunches his face or smirks. Maybe I'm old school, but to me the second you do that you are not a professional. I know, I know, FOX people do it too. I don't like it.

I have several suggestions on ways of using him. None of them involve his retaining the basic form or usual function one assumes as a use for a human being.

If they do...

If they do they'll have similar ratings
