Air rifles are a popular sport in Europe, are very accurate and can be quite powerful.

Around here, I take a Daisy Powerline 880 pump air rifle when I take my dogs out - it fires BBs and .177 pellets - 10 pumps and it's as powerful as a .22 and I use it to shoot jackrabbits and ground squirrels with pellets.

People just look at it like a BB gun, but... ;)

Sorry, but a BB gun is right up there with a knife in a gunfight....;)

CNN would not know the difference anyway, it could have been a drawing of a rifle and those at CNN would be wetting their panties.

This was probably the "sniper" CNN was reporting about in 2008: Clinton says she 'misspoke' about sniper fire http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/25/campaign.wrap/

Someone capture that picture before CNN deletes it......

I normally wouldn't worry about a country imploding in a civil war but a large portion of the old USSR's nukes are in the Ukraine...

Nevermind- The Ukraine sent it's nukes back to Russia... Send them more BB guns...

John Kerry is on his way to Kiev.

The State Dept said Kerry is taking a Syrian delegation with him as the Syrians have stepped up and informed the Ukraine that it would be sending in teams to remove the nukes from the Ukraine before the fighting got worse.

Since dodging (BB) sniper fire worked so well for the previous SOS (Sack of State).

Perfect.....

And in related news the Teleprompter Reader of the United States is currently playing his 2899 game of golf and he wishes John Kerry and his Syrian delegation "all the best".

Meanwhile Congo expert Dr. Ben Affleck will be testifying before the United States Senate. (You can't make this stuff up...... personally I think we should just detonate a 100 megaton weapon in our own atmosphere and just speed up this train wreck.....)

"Affleck is slated to appear before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee next Wednesday to discuss the troubled central African country of 75 million people. The Argo director has shown a keen interest in Congo in recent years through his philanthropic organization, the Eastern Congo Initiative."

Attached..

Richard, I have a BSA Lightening, runs a bit over 800 FPS with a 15gr pointed pellet, BC of .009. I run if thru a calculator and with a 25yd zero, the 100 yd head shoot only gets 16 ft lbs.. Not a real "one shot one kill" type of weapon.. Not sure it would punch a hole in a Babushka??

Too easy... :D

For all you sillyvilian's ;) you can tell it's a BB gun by the hinge pin just forward of the "snipers" thumb in the center of the stock. Plus if you look at the thickness of the barrel as compared to his thumb or finger you'll see it's very thin.

Make no mistake this is CNN's "BB Sniper".........
