Nagant didn't have much to do with the Moisin Nagant rifle but sued the Russian government alleging they used some of the features from the rifle he had submitted in competition with the Russian designed Moisin. Nagant was a Belgium gentleman who later designed a very clever revolver that the Russians adopted, which had its own unique ammunition and an action that eliminated the gap between cylinder and barrel that other revolvers suffer from. He created in effect, the first Revolver Hi-Power.

I saw one of those reworked with a bent bolt, scope base, target barrel (?) Mc-looking stock, Timney trigger and some other stuff. 2" at 300 yards with a 5-shot group is what I believed he claimed he could get out of it.

Looked cool. I think he paid $100 for the MN, itself...

Remington made some Mosins for the Russkies.

Had a Nagant and with the right load they are suprisingly accurate.
