I realize, I was was but a small child when we were at war there and others here had BTDT, however, I had a hard time reading the above article. They made him out to be a freedom fighter of the highest order, a saint and reads like communist propaganda.
It appears that they have glossed over his methods and tactics. If I'm reading this wrong, please bring me up to speed. Thank you. |
It is all about perspective and who the audience is. To them "communist VN" he is a hero.

I agree completely, the exception here is that it was written by AFP News staff
Part of their mission statement reads: Impartiality Objectivity is a difficult goal to achieve. The mere unavoidable organisation of facts can influence a reader’s judgement. However, this does not prevent us from pursuing our policy of rigorous neutrality. According to its remit, AFP is independent of the French government and all other economic or political interests. No user of AFP content should detect an opinion contained within the facts presented and AFP journalists resolve to present an account of events free of any form of distortion. That article read a little one sided to me. Then again, it was written by the French. Maybe something was lost in the translation. |
AP's a major cell of the slimeball media network. They worship guys like Giap, Mao, Castro, Chavez and any other commie scumbag you can name, because they hate how America was built and what it stands for.
They couldn't care less about any of our guys giving their lives to oppose communism. |
Thanks for the response. I can now assume I was tracking correctly
Once again the liberal media shows it's ugly underbelly. |
