Now if it were a tiger, the proper riding style is side-saddle. And as tigers are generally the biggest of the big cats, they proper way to ride is to use a western saddle. Well, except for the Sumatra Tiger. Those need to be ridden with a light jockey's saddle. Lions should be ridden facing forward on an English saddle. And cougars/pumas/jaguars should be ridden bare-back while facing forward but with the aid of a halter. :D
