jacksonville FL fly fishing

any type of flyfishing I can get into down there in the next 2 weeks?

I just got back from Pensacola, and the redfish were really slow. Hope you have more fun than I did.

Joey

I asked some friends who fish North Florida. Will post results..

I'm thinking off shore the water will be warming up so Dolphin and the Summer Crowd will be hungry. Tarpon may be moving thru to the Carolinas. The warm weather should help the river and lakes species..

If you have a 10wt take it. and a 5wt for freshwater.. If all else fails, fish the surf. Shrimp & crab patterns. If the surf is dead flat, try a floating popper style. The poppers are also good for bass.

yeah got the 5 wt also, take it everywhere

These Clouser Minnow patterns slay down in FL way if anyone is headed there. I just got back from Bonefish fly fishing there and managed to do pretty well!
