Research into Adolf Hitler's use of firearms registration lists to confiscate guns and the execution of their owners teaches a forceful lesson -- one that reveals why the American people and Congress have rejected registering honest firearm owners in the past.

Hitler was just oen in a long line of those using registration and then confiscation as a tool for mass murder.

The JPFO has a great summary of those regimes during the 20th century that slaughtered between 85 and 100 million of their own citizens:

I recall that AR article. Hitler was the master of the slippery slope. And he also controlled the media via Goebbels. He had a film of a medical school professor showing films of mental ill and mentally handicapped children and adults. Then he asked the medical students if they would want to live in that condition. Wouldn't you want to be sterlized or euthanized? Wouldn't it be a blessing?Almost mandatory viewing. No public outcry. The sterilizations, then euthanizations of those people begun. Then the Jews. Round ups, transports, gas chambers... The left has this down pat. Abortion -- euthanasia, now guns. Remember Chuck Schummer's comment after the either the Brady Bill or the first assualt weapons ban. "This is the camel's nose under the tent. And wait till you see the rest of the camel!"
