AS-1743 frequency tag question
 

I recently bought this antenna. I have noticed that a fair amount of the friction-fit frequency markers are not a real good friction fit on the wire... they will slide on the wire just with the pressure of a hand reeling out the wire.

Was wondering if anybody here has used the light touch of a small wattage soldering iron on the frequency marker in order to better shrink it down on the wire.
