Part of it, JJ. Can't lower property values any worse than accidental SCUBA deaths. Can I come hang out for the duration? ;) Good luck!

Only 9 inches in my AO as of this morning, and it started raining again.
Only one not complaining is the FL. Div. of Forestry!!! ;-)))

Funny thing about that model they were using, originally it was slated to go due west, but instead it did a 180 degree turn and went almost due east...... Being a weatherman is the only job I know where you can be 100% wrong and still keep your job..........:p

So far it's been a pussy cat around here... Indian Rocks Beach, FL, on the Gulf of Mex. just south of Clearwater Beach. It been sunny all day without a drop of rain all day.:D

Southern California didn't get 9 inches iof rain all season... The hills are brown and crispy, ready for the next pyro to throw a cigarette into the brush.

We had plenty of rain in the past 48 hours here in Safety Harbor. Our fence was blown down, part of the palm in the front fell and had to pump about 4 inches out of the pool; otherwise all is well. However last night was a little tense when the local news tracked a wind shear that came on shore at Terra Verde and tracked through St Pete and passed right over us here in Safety Harbor. They were reporting wind shear in excess of 90 mph and thus issued tornado warnings and as a result, I put my girls in the safe closet. Thankfully all went well, but there was a storm related death east of Tampa yesterday.

I'm in Largo, today was insane* torrential downpour for 10-15 mins followed by 45 mins of calm almost every hour on the hour.

Word is Passe Grille is pretty devastated.

Debby was a pussy cat compared to Elena which sat 75 miles out in Gulf for days and wreaked havoc on the TB area back in '85.

The only death in Florida that I've heard of was down in Venus which is down by Lake Okee...a mother who was found dead clutching her 3 yo daughter..they were pulled out of their mobile home by a Tornado. Tornadoes are attracted to
Mobile home parks....It must be the aluminum!!
