Words or thoughts for an old member
 

My Father Eric A Heid is a retired Quiet Professional from 1st Group he also served with 5th group I believe, I was just wondering if anyone one here knows him, or knows of him and would be willing to send him some kind of encouraging message. He was recently diagnosed with throat cancer and the treatments are kicking his butt a bit. If so I could pass you on his email address. I thank you for all your help

WHeid, sorry to hear about your dad's current condition. I watched mine fight Leukemia. I'd be happy to send your dad a quick email of encouragement. I was stationed with him in Okinawa (87-90), & I assume he retired shortly there-after (would see him around group at Fort Lewis). I also interfaced with your mom from time to time when she worked as the logistics NCO at 1st Group. I was never a personal acquaintance per se' but am a fellow SF'er.
